New Principal

Smith Santiesteban Allen Architects, Inc. is pleased to announce the formation of a new partnership as of January 23, 2008. Charles L. Allen, Jr., AIA CSI, will replace Richard Barnes as a new principal.

Chuck is a graduate of the University of Florida (B. Design/1990, M. Arch/1992) and has served as a Project Manager and designer for the last seven years. With more than 15 years of professional experience, he will oversee the project management and implementation of the firm’s resources for developing design concepts, production of construction documents, and the development of marketing materials.

Since 2000, Chuck has been involved in more than 10 multi-family residential and mixed-use projects including: Somerset Cay, Azure at Bonita Bay, The Tower Residences at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, Mangrove Cay, Antigua Bay Yacht Club, Ovation, and First Street Village.

We are excited about these new changes and feel that Chuck’s involvement as a principal will directly benefit our clients and consultants through his abilities and his dedication to quality design and construction documents. We look forward to continuing to provide our clients with professional architectural design and consulting services and sharing our clients’ vision in their future endeavors.

New Website Launched

Smith Santiesteban Allen Architects, Inc., a Tampa Architecture Firm, recently revealed their new website, found at http://www.ssa-architecture.com. Further enhancements will be implemented by late February, including an interactive gallery of projects.
